Bhubaneswar: Chairman of Skill Development Authority Subroto Bagchi and Chairperson Mo School Abhiyan Susmita Bagchi have contributed Rs. 2.5 cr to CMRF for fight against Covid-19.
They presented the cheque to Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy in Lokseva Bhawan today.
Presenting the cheque they said, “The Odisha Government is doing mammoth efforts to save the life and livelihood of the people in this unprecedented global pandemic. We have contributed this small ammount to support Covid relief in Bolangir district”.
It may be pertinent to mention that Bagchi’s was born in Bolangir district; and Smt Bagchi attended her first Government School in Bolangir district.
Receiving the cheque, Chief Secretary Tripathy, on behalf of the Government of Odisha, conveyed profound thanks to them for this generous donation.
