Rourkela: The Sundargarh district administration has shared the details of the 78 fresh cases of COVID-19 detected in the last 24 hours.
Out of the 78 cases, 17 have travel history and 58 are contacts of previous positive, the administration said.
Besides, two COVID warriors working at BPUT, Rourkela, and one pregnant woman (who gave birth to child yesterday at COVID hospital) were also infected by the virus.
Contact cases are from within containment zone and the rest areas from which cases are identified, will be declared as containment zones today, the district admin added.
