COVID-19: With Nearly 17,000 New Cases, India’s Total Count Hits 4.73 Lakh

New Delhi : With 16,922 new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in India has jumped to 4,73,105 and the death toll rose to 14,894 today, according to the Union Health Ministry.

As many as 418 deaths have also been reported and a record single-day spike of 16,922 cases in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra has accounted for 6,739 covid-related deaths while Delhi 2,365 and Gujarat at 1,735.
