Director Intelligence Radha Krushna Sharma Awarded President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service

Bhubaneswar: Senior Police Officer and Director Intelligence Odisha Radha Krishna Sharma and Deputy Subedar BB Thapa of Biju Patnaik State Police Academy will receive the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

The awards were declared today by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the eve of the Republic Day. Along with them 11 police officials from Odisha will also get the prestigious Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to award Presidents Police Medal for Gallantry to two police officers, Police Medal for Gallantry to 205 officers, President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service to 89 officers and Police Medal for Meritorious service to 650 persons from various States, Union Territories, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CAPFs and other institutions of the country.

Congratulations to RK Sharma on being conferred with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service .This is recognition by Govt of India of his dedication , sincerity and leadership.
