Farmer Unions Reject Centre’s Draft Proposal, Call for Nationwide Strike on Dec 14

New Delhi: The farmers unions today called for a nationwide stir on December 14 after rejecting the government’s proposal to amend the new farm laws.

As per the media reports, the farmers have decided to block the Delhi-Jaipur highway by December 12.

They have been strongly demanding the repeal of the three newly-enacted farm legislations.

Meanwhile, the sixth round of talks between the government and farm union leaders, which was scheduled for Wednesday morning, has been cancelled.
