Bhubaneswar: In line with its policy of zero tolerance towards corruption and emphasis on high degree of morality and integrity in public service, the Odisha government today ordered for compulsory retirement of Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, former Chief District Agriculture Officer of Koraput with immediate effect.
On allegations of corruption, the state vigilance department had arrested Mohanty on July 2, 2020 while he was on his way to Bhubaneswar for possessing unaccounted cash to the tune of more than rupees 11 lakh. Raids by the vigilance unearthed movable and immovable property worth more than 3.5 Crore rupees.
