Berhampur: Amid rising cases of COVID-19 in Ganjam, the district administration has imposed prohibitory order around all quarantine centres of the district to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The district administration has warned of stringent action against anyone seen violating the prohibitory order.
There are around 3,000 quarantine centres in the district.
Meanwhile, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange appealed the people to follow social distancing norms and cover face with masks or any face cover.
He also urged the people not to hide symptoms and inform the administration.

Notably, Ganjam district reported maximum number of corona positive cases in the State with 71 cases.
