Ganjam Admin Orders Closure of Malls and Cinema Halls till March 31

Berhampur: After first confirmed case of coronavirus has been reported in Odisha, the Ganjam district administration has further stepped its measures to prevent the spread of the killer virus.

The administration has announced the closure of malls, cinema halls, gyms and other places from today onwards till March 31.

However, the grocery shops, vegetal markets and medicine shops will not be closed for the convenience of people, informed Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange to the thenewsroom.co.in.

Earlier on Sunday, the district administration imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC to avoid spreading of COVID-19.
