Berhampur: The Ganjam District administration has taken the help of Information Technology for the Special ZP review meeting that was held Saturday. The administration took the decision to hold the meeting through Video Conferencing in order to minimize gatherings and avoid the spread of the deadly Corona Virus.
The meeting was attended by members including MLAs, ZP members and other officials from the Blocks.
According to Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange, “the decision to hold the meeting through VC was taken in order to avoid person to person contact at this crucial juncture. We should try our best to use the available IT infrastructure for such types of meetings.” Ganjam PD DRDA Siddharth Shankar Swain said, “we will focus on more and more meetings through Video Conferencing and will also help ground level staff to use the technology. We will strengthen out IT infrastructure in the district for such types of meetings.”
