Ganjam Admin Signs MoU with ICICI Lombard to Provide Group Health Insurance for Employees

Berhampur: The Ganjam district administration has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ICICI Lombard to provide group health insurance for its employees.

As per MoU, each employee of the district administration will get Rs 5 lakh cashless benefits for himself and spouse.

The cover includes all the pre-existing conditions as well as new deceased like COVID-19. The premium is one of the lowest for any health scheme and it is same irrespective of age, so old age staff will benefit hugely. There is no pre medical checkup requirement.

Ganjam PD DRDA Shinde Dattatraya Bhausaheb said that the partnership with ICICI Lombard will immensely benefit our employees to meet their unforeseen medical expenses.

Around 300 beneficiaries have already registered for the insurance cover and 200 more beneficiaries will be covered this year, he added.
