Ganjam Collector Appeals Not to Panic as All Cases from Quarantine Centre, No Community Outbreak

Chatrapur: The COVID-19 situation in Ganjam district is under control and people need not panic, assured district Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange. 

In a video message, Kulange said that even though Ganjam district witnessed sudden spike in COVID-19 cases, but there is no community outbreak.

All the positive cases have been detected in quarantine centres, he said.

He also urged the people to stay away from quarantine centres as returnees have come from hotspot areas.

He once again appealed the people to follow social distancing norms very sincerely to keep the COVID-19 at bay.

Strict action will be taken if anyone found roaming around the quarantine centre, he said.
