Berhampur: The migrants, who are currently under quarantine at various centres in Ganjam district, have expressed their happiness over the food arrangements made by the district administration.
The inmates of quarantine centres have expressed their satisfaction over the hygiene food being served to them.
“We are happy with the food menu, and getting good and healthy foods”, said an inmate.
According to the food menu prepared by the district administration, the returnees are served puri and aloo curry, chuda upma and aloo matar, suji upma and aloo matar, vermicell upma and aloo matar and masala upama for breakfast.
In lunch, the quarantine inmates are served mixed vegetable fry, mango chutney, egg/fish/chicken curry and paneer/parval/mushroom curry for vegetarians with rice and dal/dalma.
Snacks time is tea with biscuit or mudhi-mixture. Rice, dalma with tomato/mango chutney, mixed vegetable fry and chole masala/soya parval for dinner.
As per reports, nearly 40,000 migrants are currently under quarantine at 2,983 centres in the district.
Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange reiterated that the district administration is committed to provide hygiene food and ensure all other necessary facilities as per the directions of the Odisha Government.
