Berhampur: Three COVID-19 patients in Ganjam district have recovered from the disease after they were administered plasma therapy at a COVID hospital here, further boosting the confidence on this new medical treatment for the serious Corona patients in the district.
This has been informed by Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.
“Glad to share that these are the first three patients who got Plasma and got cured in Tata Hospital”, the Collector tweeted.
He appreciated the efforts of the doctors for the successful plasma therapy.
The Ganjam Collector also appealed the COVID-19 survivors to come forward for plasma donation.
As per the district administration, as many as 205 COVID-19 patients, who recovered from the disease, have registered themselves to donate plasma for the treatment of serious patients battling against the virus.
