Berhampur: Further strengthening its fight against corona pandemic, the Ganjam district administration has decided to observe ‘COVID Week’ from September 24 to October 1 to sensitize the people on COVID-19 protocols through a slew of IEC activities.
Some of the activities include door to door health screening, awareness rally with social distancing, COVID Sachetana Ratha, special panchasutra and enforcement drive, mass sanitation drive, special mask distribution drive, extensive COVID-19 testing campaign, plasma donors identification drive, lecture series, health and nutrition webinars, online competition for school children and COVID-safe certification of government offices.
The programme will be organized all blocks and urban local bodies across the district, informed Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.
The first of its kind initiative will go a long way in achieving the district administration’s mission zero active case target.
