Bhubaneswar: Taking note of the seriousness of the situation after the detection of new Coronavirus infections, the government as sent three Rapid Response Teams to Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur to oversee the containment measures.
Principal Secretary Health has directed experts from medical colleges, senior health officers and state RRTs to oversee containment measures in Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts.1/2

Principal Secretary Health has asked the three teams to reach the spot and provide immediate technical support to the local administration. While Director Health Services will visit Balasore, Director Public Health will be in Bhadrak and Director Family Welfare in Jajpur to oversee the efforts. The SCB Medical Hospital has been asked to provide technical support to Jajpur while FM Medical Hospital is providing support to Balasore and Bhadrak.
Director General of Police Abhay is also scheduled to visit Balasore Baripda and the border areas with West Bengal today to take stock of the lockdown situation.
