Phulbani: Heavy rains lashed out in parts of Kandhamal District since morning today. District Headquarter town Phulbani and it’s surrounding areas witnessed heavy rainfall and high speed winds led to falling of a number of trees.
Damage to a number of kaccha houses and thatched roofs have also been reporterd. Also, tree falling incidents on road have also been reported due to the impact of heavy rains. While electricity is cutoff since morning, ODRAF and Fire personnel are in their job clearing road blockades.
