Dharamsala: The first ODI of a 3-match series between India and South Africa was abandoned without a ball being bowled in Dharamsala due to relentless rain.
The second ODI will be held at Lucknow on March 15. The last game of the series will be played in Kolkata on March 18.
India had defeated South Africa 5-1 the last time these two countries had played an ODI series.
India had also won their World Cup match against the SA last year.
