Balangir: In yet another inspiring story of octogenarian beating COVID-19 in Odisha, an 80-year-old male from Balangir district won the battle against coronavirus on Thursday.
Herambo Ghosh, a resident of Hatisalpada of Balangir town, survived the virus and emerged triumphant after a 10 days ordeal.
On being discharged, Ghose expressed his gratitude to the Odisha Government and the district administration for taking care of the COVID-19 patients like him properly.
“Pleased to inform that a 80 yrs senior citizen, Herambo Ghosh of Hatisalpada, Balangir defeated Covid19 infection within 10 days of admission. The positive feedback of the survivor is quite encouraging for the corona warriors”, tweeted Balangir Collector Arindam Dakua.

Earlier this week, 81-year old Gopinath Dakua of Kandhamal district recovered from the COVID-19.
These developments have brought hopes among those who are currently battling against the virus.
