Lockdown: Aadhaar, Mobile Number Registration Mandatory to Return Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As Odisha is gearing up to accommodate the migrant labourers once lock down gets over, the State Government today made Aadhaar and mobile phone number mandatory for registration to come to Odisha, said Information and Public Relations Department Secretary Sanjay Singh here today.

“Anyone who wants to return to Odisha post lockdown is required to register himself/herself by filling up the form online and offline. Registration can be done either by the returnee or by local contact”, Singh said.

The nodal officer of the gram panchayats can also registered for returnee, he added.

The State Government expects return of about 5 lakh people that include migrant workers, students, professionals, pilgrims and others, to the State.
Notably, the government on Friday launched a portal – covid19.odisha.gov.in- for registration of people who wants to come back and announced 14-day quarantine and Rs 2,000 incentives for the returnees.
