Puri: The call by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to show solidarity to the Covid Warriors by singing Bande Utkal Janani got massive support in the temple town of Puri. People from all walks of life gathered near the Jagannath Temple in union to sing the State Anthem. Police personnel, SJTA officials, Sebayatas and common people participated in the event at 5.30 pm maintaining social distance and encouraged the Covid warriors. The picturesque background with temple behind and the soothing weather made the moment more stunning.
District Collector Balwant Singh, SP Uma Shankar Dash and others participated in the event held for abot15 minutes. In the sea beach also hundreds of people gathered to show their solidarity to the Covid warriors.
