Bhubaneswar: The members of a minority community from Bhadrak district today felicitated Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his government’s initiatives to develop their religious institution.
As per sources, over hundreds of Muslims accompanied by Bhadrak MP Manjulata Mandal and MLA Sanjib Mallick met the Chief Minister at Naveen Niwas to express their gratitude to the CM for sanctioning fund for the creation of amenities and community hall at Bhadrak Puruna Bazar Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in Odisha.
The masjid will be provided with Rs.1 for the purpose from the Special Problem Fund during the year 2019-20.
Notably, the Chief Minister on February 12 had sanctioned Rs 16 crore to different minority religious institutions in various districts of the State for creation of pilgrim amenities and community halls.
