‘Missing’ Posters Row Takes New Turn, Aparajita Sarangi’s PA Held For Assaulting Youth

Bhubaneswar: In a latest development to the missing poster row, two close aides of BJP’s Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi have been arrested today for beating a man who repotedly pasted  the posters.

Acting on the complaint of Shubham Hira, the Commissionerate Police arrested Dhaneswara Barik, the Bhubaneswar MP’s Personal Assistant, and Jyotiranjan Panda in Laxmisagar area in Bhubaneswar.

According to the complaint Dhaneswara and Jyotiranjan have thrashed him alleging pasting the poster of Aparajita Sarangi.

Notably, in a big embarrassment to the Member of Parliament from Bhubaneswar, Aparajita Sarangi, posters of her missing have been surfaced in various areas of the city.

The posters contain questions for the Member of Parliament on why she is silent on the Ekamrakshetra Bylaws. While the Bylaws for the Shree Jagannath Temple have been withdrawn, the same regarding to the Ekamrakshetra have not been withdrawn. Aparajita’s silence has enraged the local people in old town area who have said that Aparajita’s silence is hurting their interests. Some people have also said that we have made a big mistake by electing her as our Member of Parliament.
