Naveen Appeals All to Stay Home during Shutdown
June is Very Crucial for Odisha in Fight against COVID-19: CM
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today appealed the people to stay home and stay safe during shut down period this month.
Addressing the people through video message, the Chief Minister said, “June is crucial for us. Don’t step out of your homes if it is not necessary, obey social distancing norms and wear masks while going out”.
Reiterating that the battle against the COVID-19 is going to be long, Naveen urged the people to be very careful this month as another 5 lakh Odia are returning to the State and monsoon is also expected to hit the State from June 10. During the monsoon season cough, cold and fever are generally seen among the people, he added.
