Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the death of veteran trade union leader and writer Souribandhu Kar, who passed away at a private hospital here on late Monday evening.
The CM conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଶ୍ରମିକ ନେତା ତଥା ଲେଖକ ସୌରୀବନ୍ଧୁ କରଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ଏପରି ଦୁଃଖଦ ସମୟରେ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସହ ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରୁଛି।

Kar, who was the general secretary of the Odisha unit of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), died at the age of 72.
