Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief at the death of Former Rajya Sabha MP Narendra Swain.
The Chief Minister has described late Swain as a dedicated organizer and will be remembered for his service for the working community.
The Chief Minister conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Swain passed away on Monday while undergoing treatment at a hospital, according to reports. He was 80.
He was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha as a Biju Janata Dal candidate. He was in office between December 7, 2015 and April 2, 2020.
