Naveen Launches BSKY Smart Health Card In Keonjhar; Says Clean Drinking Water for All Households By 2022

Keonjhar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the distribution of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Smart Health Cards in Keonjhar district. In a special program organized today, Naveen launched the most ambitious Smart Health Cards virtually and also dedicated various developmental projects.

Speaking on the occasion, Naveen reiterated his commitment for free healthcare to all. He also said that by 2022, every household of the state will have access to clean drinking water.
More than 4.19 lakh people of Keonjhar district will get the benefits of this Smart Health Cards from today. In total, 13 districts of the state have been covered in the scheme. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the most ambitious Biju Swasthya Kalyana Yojana Smart Health Cards on the occasion of the 75 th Indipendence Day this year, under which more than 3.5 Crore people of Odisha will be provided free healthcare facilities. Each family will be provided treatment cost up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. Women members of the family can avail free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh every year.
