Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched a new theme based agarbatti of ITC Corporation here at the Puri Circuit House.
The Lord Jagannath Themed Agarbattis have been launched keeping in view the upcoming Ratha Yatra festivals.
It is a joint initiative of the ITC Mangaldeep, Odisha Government and the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration. These agarbattis would be manufactured in Odisha by rural Women Self Help Groups with the association of ORMAS. It will provide livelihood to many women who will manufacture agarbattis.
The company is going to market these agarbattis in Odisha and Other states. The company is also thinking of using the flowers and Tulsi leaves that come from the temple after Puja.
