Naveen Praises Annapurna – The Corona Warrior From Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today praised anganwadi worker Annapurna Choudhury for her dedication towards service of the needy and devotion towards her duty at this time of crisis despite her being operated for brain tumor recently.

Naveen called her up and said, “You are doing a great job for the people and I am aware of your dedication towards your duty, do your best and keep it up.”

Annapurna Choudhury, an Anganwadi worker from Balarampur in Ganjam district has completely dedicated herself in the war against the deadly virus beating all odds.

Despite severe pain on her neck and head owing to a recent brain surgery, Annapurna is not giving up the fighting. She is showing exceptional dedication to her duty and serving people at this critical hour.

She underwent a critical brain operation on March 6 at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar and joined the duty within a week after the surgery.

As part of her duty, the Anganwadi worker is visiting door to door in remote Balarampur village to create awareness among the masses about the various preventive measures suggested by the government and district administration to combat the killer virus.
