Bhubaneswar: With the organizational polls of the Biju Janata Dal in the last leg, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to become the Party President again for the eighth consecutive time.
The election of Naveen as the Party President will be announced today at the State Council Meeting to be hel d at the party headquarters.
The announcement is only a formality as he is the only candidate to file nomination papers for the post.
The two month long organizational polls will end with the election of the party president. The polls which started on December 27th 2019 saw massive membership drive by the party and elections to all organizational posts starting from the grassroots level to the district level. More than 80 state executive committee members will also elected on the occasion on Wednesday.
