Naveen’s Massive Road Show In Patkura Leaves Opposition Bowled

Kendrapada: Biju Janata Dal President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today went on a massive road show in Kendrapada’s Patkura Assembly Constituency and campaigned for party candidate Sabitri Agarwalla for the July 20 elections.

The Chief Minister started his campaign from Barimul and went on a road show in different villages and panchayats. People in large numbers greeted the chief minister reroute. The CM had a break in Jantilo IB and apublic meeting at Karilopatna Hata.
Campaigning for Patakura elections are going to end tomorrow evening as the elections are to be held on Sunday.  During the campaign the Chief Minister assured the people of Patkura of all round development and said he will personally take care of the constituency. People were so excited to see their beloved Chief Minister that some of them came from more than five kilometers to have a glimpse.

Polling in Patkura constituency was postponed first after the sad demise of BJD candidate Bed Prakash Agarwlla and again after the extremely severe cyclone hit the state on May 3rd. The elections to Patkura seem to be a bipolar one with the BJD and BJP fighting each other.

Congress on the other hand seems to trail behind. The ruling Biju Janata Dal has an edge over the Bharatiya Janata Party and is all set to win the seat as the people are happy with the various government schemes. The assurance of the Chief Minister to personally look for the development of the constituency has also gone well with the voters.

“Naveen’s clean image and strong determination for development of the state is going bear fruits” said a political analyst.
