Bhubaneswar: In big administrative action against the erring officials in the Pari Murder case in Nayagarh, the Sadar police station IIC, Rinarani Sahoo has been suspended and Naygarah SDPO has also been transferred.
Both the police officers were under scanner for their dubious role in handling the murder case of a five-year-old girl.
The mother of the minor girl who was tried Self-immolation protesting against police callousness in investigating the case, has even accused the IIC of misbehaving her. She further alleged that the police picked up her and her husband from their house on the 12th day of her daughter’s murder and later dropped at their house around midnight.
