Rourkela: In a significant development, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) to submit a report related to the gas mishap that killed four people inside plant.
The NGT asked the plant authorities to submit the report by February 11.
Notably, three senior officials (DGM ranked) officials of the plant were suspended for their alleged negligence of duties that led to the mishap.
The gas leak occurred at Coal Chemical Department of RSP on January 6.
