Ninth Round of Talks between Farmer Unions and Govt Fails to Resolve Deadlock

New Delhi: The ninth round of talks between the Centre and the representatives of farmers’ unions at the Vigyan Bhawan here today ended without resolving the deadlock over three new agricultural reform laws.

Both the sides will now meet again on January 19.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Railways, Commerce and Food Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of State for Commerce Som Parkashwere present during the meeting with the representatives of around 40 farmer unions.
