Bhubaneswar: In a major relief, the Health & Family Welfare Department. Today informed that not a single person who have returned from the United Kingdom (UK) to Odisha was found to have the mutated strain so far in the State.
Though four of the UK returnees have tested positive for COVID-19, none of them carries the mutated strain of SARS-CoV-2, official sources said.
According to reports as many as 188 persons have returned from UK and out of those, 179 have been identified. Nine persons are still remains untraceable.
