Bhubaneswar: The Odisha police today seized 254 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 25 lakh in the capital city and arrested one person in this connection.
A team of Khandagiri police conducted raid at a house in Kalinga Nagar area and seized the contraband item, according to reports.
The cops arrested one Muna Sethi, a native of Daspalla in Nayagarh district, in this connection. They also seized a country-made rifle, a car, a gold chain, two motorcycles and three mobile phones from his possession during the raid.
