Bhubaneswar: Amid tight security and COVID-19 restrictions, the counting of votes for Balasore and Tirol Assembly by-polls in Odisha began today.
While the counting started at Balasore Collectorate for Balasore Sadar and it is being done at the SVM College in Jagatsinghpur for Tirtol.
The counting of vote is being conducted with strict adherence to COVID-19 norms.
For Balasore Sadar constituency, 3 counting halls have been kept ready. Each room has 7 tables instead of 14 tables.
Three AROs have been deployed for Balasore counting whereas 2 AROs have been assigned for Tirtol bypoll.
The results will be out every round on ECI website.
Notably, the bye-elections to Balasore and Tirtol Assembly seats were held on November 3.
