Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved three important proposals including amendment to Odisha Goods and Service Taxes Rules, today.
The amended GST rules are expected to benefit new tax payers registered under the GST act.
Besides, the cabinet has also approved to construct a high level bridge at Haladipada over Subarnarekha river. The 9993.12 meter long bridge will be constructed with an estimated cost of 138.74 crore. It will connect Baliapala and Bhograi in Balasore district. The bridge is expected to be completed within 30 months.
Further, the Cabinet has approved the proposal to amend Local Fund Review Act.
