Odisha CM Expresses Happiness over SCB Getting Approval to Start DM (Pulmonary Medicine) Course

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his happiness as the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack has received approval of the Medical Council of India (MCI) to start doctorate of medicine (DM) Pulmonary Medicine course.

The Superspeciality Department of Pulmonary Medicine of the Odisha’s premier medical institution has got the MCI permission to offer the DM course.

The Chief Minister explained it a significant achievement for the State.

SCB has become the first State Medical College in Eastern India to achieve this feat, the CM wrote on his Facebook post.

Last year, the SCB Medical College and Hospital had received the MCI approval to offer doctor of medicine (DM) (Hepatology) super-specialty course.
