91 COVID-19 Patients in Ganjam Recover

Bhubaneswar: As many as 91 COVID-19 patients in Ganjam district today recovered from the infectious disease on Friday, informed the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department.

All the patients have been discharged from hospital, said the Health Department.

Apart from them, 29 patients from Khurdha, 26 from Gajapati, 15 from Jharsuguda, 12 from Bolangir, 11 from Jagatsinghpur, 11 from Mayurbhanj, 8 from Jajpur, 6 from Kendrapara, 5 from Keonjhar, 4 each from Cuttack and Sundergarh, 3 each from Bhadrak and Nayagarh, and 1 from Baragarh districts also recovered from the disease.

Odisha reported recovery of 229 patients on Friday taking total recovered cases of the State to 5934.

With the recovery of 91 patients, the number of active cases in Ganjam district came down to 826.

The district has reported 2066 cases of COVID-19 as on July 4, according to the Health Department.
