Odisha CM Greets People on Suna Besha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today greeted the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Suna Besha, the golden avatar of the Lord Jagannath and his siblings – Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.

The CM took to his twitter handle and prayed to Lord Jagannath for the peace and prosperity of the people.

Suna Besha also known as the Rajadhiraja Besha of the Trinity is performed a day after the return Car Festival when the Lords come home after a 9-day sojourn at Gundicha Temple.

The deities will be adorned with golden attire on their chariots at the Lions’ Gate of Srimandir today. The decoration of the divine siblings will begin at 4 pm after the completion of Madhyana Dhupa. The entire ornamentation process will be completed by 5.30 pm, as per the schedule released by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
