Odisha CM Made Way for Ambulance

Bhubaneswar: At a time when there is a sharp criticism from public over blocking the way for ambulances, the humble Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday set an example by facilitating smooth movement of an ambulance at Xavier square on Jaydev Vihar-Nandankanan road in the capital city.

According to reports, when the Chief Minister was about to take a U-turn at the Xavier square and at the same time, an ambulance was going on passing through the road.

As soon as he realized that an ambulance is passing through, Naveen asked his convoy to stop and let the ambulance go. Displaying humanity and act both as a Chief Minister and citizen, Naveen waited till the ambulance passed.

It may be noted here that recently a 5-year old child had reportedly died as his ambulance could not reach the hospital on time due to heavy traffic and insensitive commuters did not pave the way for ambulance.

While the Chief Minister’s convoy made the way for the ambulance, people standing there applaud the CM for his act.
