Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid his humble tributes to freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai on the occasion of his birth anniversary today.
The Chief Minister said that the dedication of Veer Surendra Sai towards freedom struggle and protection of tribal interests will also inspire the people of the State.

Surendra Sai was born on this day in 1809 in Sambalpur district. He sacrificed his life fighting against the British.
He was not only a great revolutionary throughout his life but also an inspiring leader of the people. He espoused the cause of the down trodden tribal people of Odisha.
