Bhubaneswar: Odisha Legislative Assembly will undergo remodeling soon with emphasis on digital work and complete WiFi.
Speaker Surya Narayan Patrao today formed a committee known as ‘Building Committee’ for the makeover of the Assembly.
The panel will be headed by the Works department secretary. It will visit different States to study their assemblies and prepare a blueprint for remodeling of Odisha Assembly, according to reports.
A meeting was convened at Assembly today to discuss the remodeling proposal with officials of Works, Finance and IT departments of Odisha government, sources said.
“Odisha Assembly will be a model in the country. Initiative will be taken to make it paperless and its campus WiFi,” the Speaker said.
