Odisha DGP Reviews Lockdown Implementation in Berhampur Police Dist

Berhampur: Odisha Director General of Police Abhay today reviewed the implementation of COVID-19 lockdown in Berhampur police district.

During his one-day visit here, the DGP took stock of various arrangements made by the department for the effective enforcement of the lockdown to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

The top cop held discussions with DIG Southern Range Satyabrata Bhoi and SP Berhampur Pinak Mishra on a range of issues, including functioning of Police Helpline and Welfare of Police.

The DGP also visited police lines, police stations and different police in Berhampur.

The DGP expressed his satisfaction over the implementation of lockdown in Berhampur police district, informed SP Pinak Mishra.

The top cop also expressed thanks to the public for their cooperation and complimented all rank and file for their exemplary work in fighting COVID-19, Mishra added.

Earlier, the SP urged the people to make social distancing a way of their lives in fighting the deadly virus.
