Phulbani: In a bid to provide livelihood security to the women during Pandemic, the State Government aims to provide more funds in the hands of women through SHGs.
Mission Shakti loans up to 3 lakhs can be availed at zero interest by the SHGs.
In this connection a mega SHG bank linkage mela was conducted at Phulbani under the chairmanship of Kandhamal Collector, Brundha Devarajan.
As many as 726 Mission Shakti Women SHGs from Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam & Boudh were provided with Bank Credit linkage of Rs 11.09 cr. by state run bank State Bank of India.
The institutional finance will help SHGs to strengthen their livelihood activities.
