Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has announced the extension of grace period for payment of Motor Vehicle tax and additional tax for the quarter January-March, 2021 in respect of goods vehicles upto February 28 this year.
The Commerce and Transport Department has issued a notification in this regard.
Considering the difficulties faced by vehicle owners due to COVID-19 pandemic, the government has decided to extend the grace period for payment of Motor Vehicle tax and additional tax of goods carriages for the quarter January-March, 2021 up to 28.02.2021, the notification stated.
