Odisha Govt Requests UGC to Extend Deadline for Completion of UG, PG Final Semester Exams

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today requested the University Grants Commission (UGC) to extend the deadline for completion of all UG and PG final semester/year examination.

The State Higher Education Department has urged the UGC to extend the deadline of September 30 for the exams, till October 10.

This will ensure scheduling of exams with at least one day gap so that exam centres can be sanitized properly, the Higher Education Department informed the UGC.

Final exams shall be held between 20th Sep and 10th Oct. Result shall be published by 31st Oct, it added.
