Bhubaneswar: In a bid to avoid large congregation of people on New Year’s eve, the Odisha Government today announced night curfew across the state.
In a tweet, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Jena said the night curfew will remain in force from 10 pm Thursday night to 5 am on January 1.
Barring all essential services, there will be no vehicular movement during the period, he added.
The SRC has also requested people to cooperate with the administration in its efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19.
