Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly Surya Narayan Patro on Monday asked former members of the Assembly to vacate their government quarters as soon as possible.
The Speaker also warned to snap the electricity and water supply to the quarters of former MLAs if they don’t vacate their quarters.
This directive from the Speaker came as new members of the House couldn’t get a quarter to stay, owing to overstay of the former members.
