New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Taking to Twitter, Modi said, “Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS.”
The Prime Minister also praised the doctors and scientists of the country and said they have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19.
“Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19,” Modi wrote on his Twitter handle.
He also appealed to those eligible to take the vaccine.
“I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free!”, Modi said.
